New Delhi, Aug 24 (INB) Several videos on social media showed Delhi Police Personnel attacking students and teachers staging protest against alleged anomalies in SSC exams at Jantar Mantar.
A journalist Brij Dwivedi posted a video of students being thrashed by police personnel in civil dress as well as in uniform in the late evening of Sunday.
An Environmental and Socio- Political Activist Hansraj Meena criticized the government for violent action against the students alleging the current regime under Prime Minister Narendra Modi of following “dictatorship” practices.
Thousands of students from across the country have been protesting against the Staff Selection Commission for the glitch in the examination process which allegedly deprived them from appearing for the examination.
The Staff Selection Commission organizes exams for recruiting staff for various posts in the various central ministries and departments and their subordinate offices.
The commission has not announced any resolution to the complaints made by agitating students.
